EXPORT IMAP
Use your standard IMAP account to connect
Basic Flow
- Find out your email provider's IMAP settings for your account
- You'll need the IMAP server, Port number, security connection method and your login credentials
- Note that some providers like Yahoo will need you to set an App password instead of using your normal password
- Save the connection information in the App
- Connect to your IMAP account
- Start downloading email addresses
Security
- Signing into IMAP via ExportEmails offers standard SMTP authentication for secure access to your mailbox, if needed
- ExportEmails only downloads email headers
- Note that all providers operate at different data connection speeds, meaning downloads may be slower with certain providers
