MAC

Due to Apple taking a lifetime to sort the ExportEmails developer account out, we're putting the App out unsigned which will means it may not open when downloaded, normally due to it being Quarantined.

Open a new Terminal window. (Terminal is in your Utility Applications on your Mac)

If you've Unzipped the App onto your Desktop for example, type in:

cd /

Hit return then type in:

xattr -d com.apple.quarantine /Users/YOUR_USER_NAME/Desktop/ExportEmails.app

xattr -rd com.apple.quarantine /Users/YOUR_USER_NAME/Desktop/ExportEmails.app

On older Macs, there may be an option in security settings to allow the App to open.

This should allow the App to now open.

WINDOWS

The ExportEmails Windows version Is not signed with a code-signing certificate and/or hasn’t been run by enough users to gain Microsoft’s trust.

Therefore when you Unzip or install the App with the MSI installer, if you get warnings:

Click “More info”
Click “Run anyway”

This should allow the App to now open.
